Being that this product is by energizer I assumed it would come with an energizer battery, but did not, you have to buy your batteries separate. Other wise it is as described & as usual I received it within 2 days with prime.

It would be really helpful if the description actually indicated whether or not a battery was included. The other folks commenting say this item does not include a battery and I believe them. Okay, so if I am going to need a battery, how about telling me what kind of battery this takes? Again, it’s not in the description.
Maybe one of the folks that bought this item can add their battery comments as well as how good it floats (if it does), how good the beam is, and how waterproof it is if if falls out of the boat.
I did some additional research for the good of the community. Here is my understanding of the specifications. I don’t own one yet, so I can’t guarantee this info.

These are excellent-quality floating lanterns and will eventually be quite useful on our boat. I certainly can’t complain about the price because I got them through the Friday sale for $9.99, but the description did not include the information that the unusually-sized batteries were not included. I have yet to find a source for the batteries, so haven’t yet used them.
